The Timothy Leary Oral History Project was launched on May 31, 2006 -- exactly ten years after Leary's passing . The ultimate concern of this project is to conduct and store audio interviews with Timothy Leary's associates and scholars as a means to assess his impact on contemporary society and to educate and inform the public and researchers about this hugely influential 20th century political and cultural icon.
